Textiles and Stuff 

This is a delightful Victorian doll in Scottish costume, dating from the 1880s. She has porcelain hands and feet and head with blond moulded hair, and her body is calico with stitched joints. She has a finely painted face and boots. She wears a Glengarry on her head, she has a tartan kilt, a black velvet jacket, a sporran, a plaid held by a Scottish brooch, and on her legs are tartan leggings. She measures 12.5 inches in height. She is in excellent condition, the only fault I can find is a small chip on one of her fingers on her left hand, which can be seen in the photograph.
